I promised that I would post it and I'm finally getting to it.

Yesterday I did a deep conditioning treatment and my hair enjoyed it. I've decided to do a deep conditioner every week, atleast for the time being. I don't think I've mastered the art of retaining moisture throughout the week so this is really important.

My process was simple because the products were store bought. I mixed the two and added about 2 teaspoons of EVOO. I only used half so I have enough for next week.

I mixed the two because I like the tingle of the Dr. Miracles but I liked the ingredients of the Organic Root Stimulator. I'm not completely sure about the Dr. Miracles just because none of the ingredients are natural and I could probably get the same tingle from peppermint oil. It was tan colored and doesn't really have a memorable smell. The organic root stimulator smelled delicious and was custardy (pastel yellow). I've heard great things about alot of the extracts and other ingredients. My hair came out softer and no worse for the wear.

Overall, once I run out of these two conditioners I probably won't buy them again unless I'm in a pinch and want to mix them with something else. I think the EVOO is what made it work better. I really want to focus on making products at home. In the future look for posts that involve eggs, honey, and other ingredients from your local kitchen.
